Homescapes endeavours to dispatch the orders within one working day after receiving payments. The deliveries are made using Parcel Force, Pallet Service, Special Couriers or Royal mail, depending on the product. Since we deal in smaller packages like duvets and pillows as well as very large and bulky items like furniture, our delivery mechanism is diverse.
The delivery is explained in the sections below:
Textiles, Rugs and (Non Fragile) Accessories
Delivery Time:
The goods are shipped within two working days of your order from our warehouse in West Midlands by a courier service or Royal Mail depending on the size of your order. Normally the goods are shipped out within a day of receiving the order and we are well known and appreciated for our quick turnaround of the orders.
In the rare event of us being temporarily out of stock, we shall get in touch with you and let you know the expected delivery date.
Delivery Charge:
Orders below £200 - £4.99
Orders above £200 - Free
The above charges are valid only for England, Wales and parts of Scotland as specified in Zone 1 below. We deliver to the other zones and internationally, but please contact us for the delivery charges before placing orders.
Delivery Zones
Zone 1
England, Wales and parts of Scotland, excluding Highlands and Islands. The zone is made up of all postcodes not mentioned in zones 2 and 3.
Zone 2
The Highlands and Islands of Scotland - postcodes IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE.
Zone 3
Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Isles of Scilly -postcodes BT, IM, TR21-25.
Please note that we classify the Channel Islands as an International destination.
Other Important Information:
Since these are delivered by courier service, they shall need your signatures on delivery. If you are not at home, then the package will be left at your local post office. If the package appears torn or tampered with, please do not accept the delivery or accept as damaged. Our claim for damages in transit is invalidated if you accept the goods signed as in good condition.
In event of non receipt of your order within 4 days, you must get in touch with us as that might be an instance of goods lost in transit. Please note that most couriers do not entertain claims for shipments more than three weeks old and we have to notify them of any losses within that period or we loose our right to claim against the loss.
Furniture and Fragile Bulky Accessories (Mirrors etc.)
We prefer to deliver these items on our own vehicles; otherwise we use a pallet service. We have found a distinct advantage in delivering ourselves to the customers. The main benefits are:
1. The furniture is shipped very safely and the customers receive it in pristine condition.
2. The customers can check the furniture in our presence and there is no ambiguity at all about what we are delivering and what you are receiving.
3. We are able to give you exact time of delivery unlike the large transporters.
4. We work with you and sometimes deliver in after hours as well.
5. All the packaging material can be disposed by us.
6. In rare event of any fault with the product, it can be taken back immediately rather than rearranging collections and your wasting time waiting for the collection.
7. We can address all your questions about your furniture (how to care etc) whilst delivering.
Delivery Time:
As soon as your order is received, we shall get in touch to notify the approximate delivery time. We are working very hard to keep our prices and the delivery cost low. And the only way to do that is to club as many deliveries as possible in one run. The delivery times can vary from a couple of days to a couple of weeks. Most of the items are held in stock, but if we are temporarily out of stock, we’ll notify the revised schedule and work with you
For urgent deliveries, we can either make a special trip for you or send the goods on a pallet service. There shall be an extra charge for that. Please contact us if you need your order delivered urgently and we shall find the most economical option.

Other Important Information
Please note that the delivery charges of furniture are highly subsidised by Homescapes, and in event of a return the actual delivery charges will be deducted. Please feel free to contact us for details. Some customers might need assistance to deliver to specific rooms or other help in assembling etc, please contact us and we shall be happy to help.
In case we are sending the delivery on a pallet service, the delivery is usually done to the kerb side. The driver needs your signature, so please make sure you are available. We strongly recommend you check your package thoroughly before you sign for your delivery. In event of breakage during transportation, the carriers can not be held responsible if you have signed for receiving the goods in good condition.
